Landulph Under Fives

Welcome to Landulph Under Fives Pre-School

Landulph Under 5’s is a Pre-School based in the Landulph Memorial Hall in the village of Cargreen, by the beautiful River Tamar.  We are a small non-profit-making, charitable organisation run by an elected committee of dedicated parents/carers.  We are Ofsted inspected and are members of the Pre-School Learning Alliance, providing care from 2 to 5 years old.

Free Funding

Children are eligible for a Nursery Grant from the term after their 3rd Birthday.  This entitlement provides funding for 30 hours per week.  Any charges not met by the funding are met by the child’s parents/carers.  Please ask for current fees.

Opening Times (Term-time only)

Monday to Friday

Breakfast club 8.30-9.00am
Morning session 9.00-12.00pm
Afternoon Session 12.00-3.00pm
Afternoon club 3.00-4.00pm

Learning through Play

We are a friendly and enthusiastic group, aiming to provide all our children with a secure and motivating environment in which they can develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually.  The Pre-School is lucky to have a safe and secure outside play area, including a garden which is used by the children to grow flowers, fruit and vegetables.  This is invaluable in developing the children’s interest in the natural world whilst having fun outside in the fresh air.  We have recently (Summer 2012) had a grant to develop our Outdoor Learning and have some lovely new equipment for outdoors; playhouse, wormery, sun-tents, wheelbarrows…
