About Us
Established in the 1923, Landulph School is set in extensive grounds close to the river Tamar, on the edge of the village of Cargreen and a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The school is extremely proud of the large playing field and outdoor learning environment.
Catchment Area
Landulph School serves the communities of Botus Fleming, Cargreen, Hatt, Landulph and the surrounding area. We also welcome children from Saltash and Callington.
Facilities
The school building was extended and fully modernised in 1982. It has three spacious, light and airy classrooms, each with its own external access and cloakroom. There is a multi-purpose Hall equipped for assemblies, drama and gymnastics which also serves as a dining room. There are two open-plan areas: one is used for teaching computing, art and design technology, while the other houses a well-stocked Library, of which we are especially proud.
The grounds are extensive. There is a large playground and picnic area, with outdoor tables, seating and a Sports Field. In 2007 a designated foundation stage play area was created with our younger pupils in mind.
The school is connected to the Internet, and all children have hands-on computer experience.
Security
Security of personnel on-site is of paramount importance. Visitors are directed to Reception and issued with identity badges. Site security is re-assessed annually by members of the Governing Body
